A few hours after the first official pictures of the new Volkswagen CrossBlue Coupe Concept were released on the internet the Germans revealed the first official information about the new exhibit which will be presented at the Volkswagen booth at 2013 Shanghai Auto Show. Volkswagen CrossBlue Concept was on display at the Detroit Auto Show this year but now evolved with a slight „coupe touch”. They call it, VW CrossBlue Coupe Concept and is an SUV that, of course, has a coupe silhouette. The new concept comes with an overall length of 4.89 meters, a width of 2.02 meters and has a wheelbase of 2.98 meters. Volkswagen Golf is the big winner of the Car of the Year 2013 distinction. German model surpassed Toyota GT86/ Subaru BRZ and Volvo V40. Volkswagen Golf 7 has earned the title of “Car of the Year 2013″. Model in Wolfsburg won 414 points, double compared to its rival, Toyota GT86 / Subaru BRZ, which received only 202 points. In third place came in Volvo V40, with 189 points. This is the second “Car of the Year” title for Volkswagen Golf, after the third generation of the compact was awarded in 1992.
