Some voices claim that the debut of Lamborghini Aventador Roadster is scheduled for Geneva Motor Show 2012. Lamborghini Aventador Roadster: dream or reality? This model uses the same 6.5 liter V12 engine with 700 PS (515 kW / 690 hp) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque as its coupe brother. For now, there are no information about the performances of the new model. The model boasts with a braking system consisting of a set of 400 millimeters (15.7 inches) discs for the front axle, held in check by two calipers with six pistons, while the rear axle has 380 mm (15 in) discs with four pistons calipers. Regarding the new retractable roof model, some voices suggest a dramatically improved system compared to the one found on the Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster.
