Cadillac is making its debut in the premium coupe segment with the new electric  Cadillac ELR, and the price is very interesting. Based on Converj, the production model of Cadillac ELR relies on the current Chevrolet Volt’s engine. Cadillac unveiled at Detroit Auto Show 2013 the ELR model, a production version of the Converj concept, that has been introduced in 2009 at the same U.S. auto show. The model is a premium hybrid coupe which will go into production later this year and will hit the market in early 2014. Under strong bodywork,inspired by the angular and masculine lines of Converj concept, Cadillac ELR hides a whole new hybrid ensemble  taken  from Volt.
