BMW officially presents the second bodywork variant for the new 3 Series. It is the Touring model intended for the practically customers. The new BMW 3 Series Touring arrives in September. BMW 3 Series family grows. After launching the sedan, BMW announces the Touring version for the 3 Series model. It is a station wagon (estate) for those who want to combine the sporty character of BMW with a practical side. The new version adds more space for passengers and luggage, making the new BMW 3 Series a more versatile vehicle. 2012 BMW X1 received a facelift to improve its market position. The compact SUV from Munich is available with new engines, an eight-speed automatic transmission and new design lines: xLine and Sports Line, which provides additional opportunities for customization. BMW X1, the youngest compact-crossover also received a subtle facelift. This includes improvements both in terms of design and technology novelties. 2012 BMW X1 Facelift will debut commercially this fall, the market prices for Europe will be announced later. The soldiers marched one by one: 2012 BMW M6, 2012 BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe and the M Performance Automobiles range as well as the 2012 BMW X6 facelift. Vicki Butler-Henderson is a presenter of the Channel Five car show Fifth Gear, and also was a former presenter of BBC2′s Top Gear. She also has ten years experience as a road tester for a variety of car magazines in the UK. 2012 BMW M5 Specs The all new 2012 BMW M5 was officially presented to the press at Nurburgring, but the public was able to admire the new BMW model in all its glory at Frankfurt Motor Show 2011. In comparison with the previous generation, the new BMW M5 is 10% stronger and provides 30% more torque, while consuming 30% less fuel. 2012 BMW M5 is equipped with a V8 TwinPower Turbo engine, which develops 560 HP (567.8 PS, 417.6 Kw) between 6,000 and 7.000 rpm. Maximum torque provided by this unit is 680 Nm (501.5 lb/ft) and is offered between 1500 and 5750 rpm. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) is accomplished in 4.4 seconds, while the time for 0-200 km/h (124 mph) is 13 seconds. BMW M5 has a 7-speed automatic transmission with M DCT double clutch. Top speed is limited to 250 km/h (155 mph), but the M Driver package removes this restriction and allows to reach a speed of 300 km/h (186 mph). BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe was officially launched. BMW is charging the four door coupe market and releases a longer version of the 6 Series. With two extra doors and 111 mm (4.4 in) long, this is BMW’s is response to Mercedes-Benz CLS. BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe is the four-door version of the BMW 6 Series, the main competitor for models like Mercedes-Benz CLS and Audi A7. The new model is longer by 111 mm (4.4 in) than a normal 6 Series model. The design details are borrowed from BMW 6 Series Coupe. The profile is the part that highlights the new model. A pair of extra doors and a larger rear seat, plus a trunk of 460 liters (16,2 cubic feet). The four-door BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe offers 4 +1 seats and comes as standard with Dakota leather upholstery and two zone automatic climate control, among other things.
