Red Bull Racing has airlifted one of his race cars from 2011. They managed to heat up in the atmosphere on a ski slope on the Austrian side.
We are accustomed to seeing Formula 1 race cars on circuits or, at most, the wide boulevards in the demonstrations. Surely we are not accustomed to seeing Formula 1 race cars on a ski slope. And yet…when we talk about a crazy team, as Red Bull Racing, then everything is possible.
Max Verstappen got behind the wheel of his race car since 2011 to try the snow on the ski slopes of Kitzbuehl, a famous winter sports village in Austria.
Race car was transported on the slopes by helicopter and then allowed to make their head of applause from the sidelines. To grip on snow covered roads, Red Bull switched studded tires and a set of chains. The acceleration was calibrated to give Verstappen better control on difficult areas.
