Button won the Australian Grand Prix!

Jenson Button won in Australia at the end of a spectacular race full of incidents, in which Felipe Massa and Robert Kubica completed the podium for Renault and Ferrari.

After the race free of salt and pepper in Bahrain, Australian Grand Prix Formula 1 brought back the show, especially because of rain that hit the circuit with only a few minutes before the start.

Jenson Button won the first victory for McLaren as a pilot after he adopted a strategy for excellence, being first opted for slick tires after the rain stopped. Robert Kubica took advantage of several incidents from start to finish in 2nd place and, implicitly, to get first podium for Renault, while Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso were occupied 3rd and 4th places for Ferrari, both failing to attack on the polish.

Nico Rosberg finished 5th in front of Lewis Hamilton who was the protagonist of several spectacular duels, while Vitantonio Liuzzi, Rubens Barrichello and Mark Webber completed the top. The last point put the game went to Michael Schumacher, who finished in 10th place after the state blocked almost half the race behind Alguersuari and dela Rosa.

Rain thwarting pilots just before the start. Although they fell just a few drops of water, they were enough for pilots to start the race with intermediate tires. Vettel had a good start and maintained the first position, but he gave Webber a position of Massa after the brazilian left in 5th place.

The start was much more dramatic for three of the four champions have been on track: Alonso, Button and Schumacher were to catch in the first corner and Scuderia Ferrari driver dropped to the 18th place. Behind the firing, the rear wing flew seater BMW Sauber split Kobayashi, the japanese lost control and hit the steering wheel in full on Hulkenberg, engaging him in the incident with Buemi. All three riders were forced to abandon, while Trulli has failed to start the race due to hydraulic problems.

For 10-15 laps, Hamilton and Webber were gradually close the first four classes, all data indicating a direct duel in the last 5-10 laps of the race. Although reported a massive degradation of tires right when it got to a position of attacking Alonso, Hamilton tried to overcome by Alonso but the spaniard forced to defend the british to retreat.

Button had no problem leading the race and won the first victory for McLaren in the lead position in front of Kubica, who made a very good race for Renault. Massa and Alonso, Rosberg and Hamilton followed in the ranking in front of Liuzzi, Barrichello and Webber.

Now in its second race after the return to Formula 1, Schumacher was blocked almost half of the race in 12th place, but won the last point at stake after he passed on in extremis Alguersuari and dela Rosa with only three laps before the end race. Australian Grand Prix saw no less than 10 abandoned and had his right Glock, di Grassi, Vettel, Sutil, Petrov, Senna, Buemi, Hulkenberg, Kobayashi and Trulli.
