Just over an hour and 30 minutes! It’s all Finn Raikkonen needed to impose itself in the Australian Grand Prix in the first round of the 2013 F1 season. It seems the tires contributed to his victory, as Raikkonen had only two pit stops. Leaving from pole position, Sebastian Vettel was leading until his first pit stop.

In his first race for Mercedes GP, Lewis Hamilton managed to finish fifth, ahead of Mark Webber, Jenson Button and Romain Grojean. Best time of the race was set also by Kimi Raikkonen, clocked 1:29.274 on his 56 lap. The next stage of the competition will take place next week in Malaysia. Better luck next time Ferrari!
