Peugeot promotes the sound and passion of the 2013 Peugeot 208 GTi in three new commercials, in which we are observing the effect of the two factors on the lives of seemingly ordinary people.
2013 Peugeot 208 GTi is one of the models long awaited by the Sochaux brand’s fans. The new generation of subcompact sports car has a 1.6 THP engine developing 200 horsepower, being coupled to a six-speed manual transmission.

The 2013 Peugeot 208 GTi promises an acceleration for 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in less than seven seconds and a top speed of over 143 mph (230 km/h). CO2 emissions are rated at 145 grams per kilometer, and the French promise a great sound, promoted by the three commercials published on the official YouTube channel of the car manufacturer from Hexagon.
Compared with a standard 208, the 2013 Peugeot 208 GTi version has a front track increased by 10 millimeters (0.4 in), while the rear track is increased by 20 millimeters (0.8 in). The rear suspension retained the old configuration with a torsion beam, but the French promise an “incisive” driving experience.
The steering mechanism is stronger, the anti-roll bars have been strengthened, and the bodywork is also more rigid. 2013 Peugeot 208 GTi has a set of sport springs and sport dampers, which maintain contact with the road through a set of 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with 205/45 tires.
2013 Peugeot 208 GTi has a mass of 1160 kilograms (2557.3 lbs), 80 kilograms (176.4 lbs) less than that 2013 Renault Clio RS and 165 kilograms (363.7 lbs) less than 207 GTi. In comparison with the standard version, the model has a particular aesthetic appearance marked by bigger wing bosses, higher side skirts, LED daytime running lights and a redesigned front grille. Peugeot offers a special color for this model, with reminiscent decorations from the old 205 GTi.
