Audi plans to launch some very limited version of Quattro Concept, presented last year at the Paris Motor Show. The production model will weigh 225 kilograms less than the Audi R8. Seen as one of the main attractions of the Audi stand in Paris in 2010, Quattro Concept goes with big steps towards production. Unofficial sources speak about the possibility of series production, even though the number of copies will be extremely limited. A single prototype, based on the current Audi S5 will be presented to the administration board to get a green light. The prototype developed by engineers from the Ingolstadt and recently caught in spy photos is using a complete structure from the aluminum panels of the same material and carbon fiber hood. Lambroghini will celebrate 150 years of Italian unity with a special edition Gallardo model, named Tricolore. Lamborghini Gallardo Tricolore will be presented on March 16 in Turin. Here are the first spy photos of future BMW i8. Photographs from Carpix managed to get the first spy photos of BMW i8. The model is embodiment of the series version for Vision EfficientDynamics concept and was tested under winter conditions in Sweden. Sport model debut is expected to take place in 2014, and will be the second family member at BMW. First appearance of this model, as a concept, took place at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2009. At that time BMW i8 was equipped with a three-cylinder turbodiesel engine with rear driving wheels and was mounted centrally. Diesel engine was assisted by an electric motor, both coupled to a six-speed DCT transmissions. Diesel unit has a displacement of 1.5 liters and provides 164 horsepower, while the electric motor provides a continuous output of 33 hp and a maximum of 51 hp. President of Aston Martin declared  that Lagonda brand will be revive with a full range of models. The first product will be an SUV, intended the harsh conditions in Russia. After the excitement created around the Geneva Motor Show 2011, Aston Martin decided to make an important announcement. President of the British manufacturer, Ulrich Bez said in a recent interview that the Aston Martin Lagonda brand will be relaunched and will offer a wide range of models. Collaboration with Mercedes The British are currently seeking financial support to sustain the project and a partner able to provide viable platforms and technologies. Referring to the need for funding, Bez said: “Mercedes needed a billion to revive the Maybach brand.
