After the pleasant surprise of Gazal 1 at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, the first model built entirely in Saudi Arabia has become reality.
King Abdullah announced the approval for mass production after a lavish ceremony, congratulating the successful work of the project initiators: a group of students from King Saud University. Developed after the curves of Mercedes G-Class, the new model keeps the design had by the concept presented at Geneva 2010.
Under the bonnet we will probably find a 5.5-liter V8 engine, built by Mercedes having 388 horsepower. The German blood can be seen from the start to the back of the car as the DNA taken from legendary off-road G-Class constructed a true warrior ready for any rough terrain.
