The foundation led by Elton John and his life partner, David Furnish, (EJAF) will auction a special copy of the Audi A1 specifically designed by the British artist Damien Hirst. Thus, Audi follows the footsteps made by their competitors BMW, who’s Art Cars had a great success even since 1975.
The auction will take place at the annual ball hosted by Elton John in London and all the funds will be donated to help combat HIV. The custom car was drawn by the artist Damien Hirst in his own studio from Gloucestershire UK A good reason to bid for this car is the fact that this brand new Audi A1 will be sold before the model’s launch in the European markets.
Audi is a partner at the EJAF Foundation for the eighth consecutive year, but this is the first year when they will contribute with a custom art car: “We are very proud to support Elton John at his prom charity by donating a precious and unrepeatable work of art” said Audi officials.
So hurry up cinderella because White Tie and Tiara Ball will be held tomorrow: that’s Thursday, June 24 in London UK! EJAF Foundation, led by Elton John and David Furnish, was founded in 1993 and is considered to be in the TOP 10 largest world organization that fights HIV. Since 1993 until today, the White Tie and Tiara Ball event raised 40 million pounds, all money donated to the HIV research centers.
