Nissan Altima 2013 was presented for the first time at the New York International Auto Show 2012. Nissan Altima was sold in over 4 million units on the American market since 1992 debut, 2012 being the highest sales year in history of the nameplate.
Now, Nissan it’s targeting the Arab markets hoping for similar sales with Nissan Altima 2013 UAE, already being launched in the Middle East, at an event in Dubai. The 2013 Altima is part of Nissan’s sales plan to increase their sedan market-share in the GCC. According to some Arab sources, Nissan Altima is quite possibly second in midsize-sedan sales in the UAE, behind the Toyota Camry.

Nissan Altima 2013 – Price & Engine & Design
Nissan Altima 2013 will be available with two petrol engines: a 2.5-liter and a V6 3.5-liter. The 2.5-liter 4-cylinder DOHC engine with 182 horsepower and 243 Nm (179 lb-ft) of torque has a mixed fuel economy of 6.3 liters/100 km (38 mpg highway), makes the 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 8 seconds and has a top speed of 223 km/h (139 mph).
The V6 3.5-liter engine with 270 horsepower and 340 Nm (250 lb-ft) of torque, has a mixed fuel economy of 8.0 liters/100 km, makes the 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.3 seconds and has a top speed of 237 km/h (147 mph). Both engines are fitted with a new Xtronic CVT gearbox.
Nissan Altima 2013 design – the new model has now a new front grille, new optical blocks, new fenders, new rear lights and twin exhaust tailpipes. At the interior, we have a three-spoke leather steering wheel, wood and metal furnishings, a new dashboard which features the new Advanced Drive-Assist color display which shows navigation information, etc. The car has a system for detecting objects in the rear, a blind spot warning system and a departure lane alert system.
Features included in the base version include ABS, traction-control, vehicle stability control, remote keyless entry with Push Button Ignition, radio with CD player with Aux-in and 4 speakers, audio controls on steering wheel and dual airbags.
Nissan Altima 2013 has a starting price of $21,760 for the 2.5-liter base model (Dhs 79500 – 97000), and a starting price of $30,560 for the 3.5-liter SL top model (Dhs 99000 – 114000).
