Nissan has launched in United States the advertising for Leaf, the electric car that will make a real revolution in the offer of the Japanese manufacturer. The advertise focuses on a simple but effective concept, that of cutting harmful exhaust gases, and a special testimonial from the cyclist Lance Armstrong. McLaren has made a habit of publishing on YouTube viral videos, and is an interesting initiative, especially when we are talking about a pure marketing. Nissan Juke presents in this video its four wheel drive system (nissan juke 4×4) with Torque Vectoring. With the allocation of traction on the two axes, both to each wheel, you can optimize traction on each fund and in an ongoing, curve for curve, even for everyday driving. The system will be offered in conjunction with the top engine of the range, the new 1.6 Turbo T-DIG 190 bhp and 240 Nm of torque, along with the CVT gearbox with optional 6-speed traditional simulation. With this engine and AWD, the small Nissan Juke (only 4.14 meters long) in Tecna setting will be on sale at 27,290 euros (£22.390), while the price list of the full range starts at 16,490 euros (£13.530). Nissan still has not released data about performance, fuel economy and emissions of this release. Sven Schulte-Rummerl, AutoBild journalist, was able to make a first test on the road in the company of Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell, equipped with four electric motors sports for a total output of 553 bhp and 880nm of torque. The engineers have placed the batteries of the Star along the central tunnel, while the engines are positioned close to the wheel and not within the same order to optimize the layout of unsprung weight. Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell features a new front splitter and an extractor extreme, redesigned to exploit the absence of the exhaust. The supercar can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4 seconds and it’s equipped with lithium-ion batteries. Technical details above are for the prototype of this model, the production version not yet complete. The French subsidiary of Ford has presented the collection Le Mans Classic of Focus RS, which consists of five models, each dedicated to a Blue Oval car that triumphed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with the exception of copy livery white/blue dedicated to Capri 2600 RS that won the ’72 tourism championship. The other four Ford Focus RS are dedicated to 60′s GT40 Shelby Mk II that had the black livery with gold stripes running lengthwise, the GT40 Shelby Mk IV ’67 red with white longitudinal bands, the GT40 Mk II B had the white with blue longitudinal stripes edged red and the legendary GT40 Mk I – from the distinctive blue and orange body – that won the ’68 and ’69 editions of the French endurance race. Each of the five copies is equipped with RS package or with the RS Technology package. RS package is the rear-Recaro seats, parking assist system, heated windshield, power system and Keyless Access. RS Technology package consists of a DVD navigation system with touchscreen and reverse room, perimeter alarm system, tire pressure monitoring and an audio system with eight speakers and Bluetooth for wireless connection. All five special models Ford Focus RS Le Mans Classic attending the Le Mans Classic event in July and will be led onto the track a few special guests of Ford brand, then will go on sale.
