The Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung 2011 (IAA, English: International Automobile Exhibition), also known as the Frankfurt Motor Show at its 64th edition, has ended. Here are the TOP 10 SUVs presented in Germany. BMW came to the Frankfurt Motor Show with a special edition of X5 and X6 SUVs. The special models are named Exclusive Edition. Among the changes we found new designed 20-inch wheels, also colored with a special black shade called Citrine. At the interior, customers will be pampered with wood insertions and Nevada leather sport seats. Together with BMW X5/X6 Exclusive Edition, BMW brings a revised version X5 xDrive30d equipped with Blue Performance technology. This technology will allow BMW X5 xDrive30d to meet pollution standards Euro6. Average consumption for this model is 7.5 l/100 km and the announced emissions are 198 g/km. Chevrolet Colorado Rally represents the project of a global pickup. Chevrolet wants to create a single model for all its markets. Colorado Rally is still a concept in the form it was presented in Frankfurt, but the production model will follow soon. Chevrolet Colorado Rally Concept will be powered by a 2.8-liter turbo diesel engine. The concept that was presented at IAA 2011 is a muscle variant designed to impress. The Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung 2011 (IAA, English: International Automobile Exhibition), also known as the Frankfurt Motor Show at its 64th edition, has ended. Here are the TOP 10 Spectacular Concepts presented in Germany. Audi brought in Frankfurt the concept with a familiar name. For many of us, the Audi A2 Concept is a model with strange shapes, avant-garde for its time, but rare enough nowadays. Audi wants to revive the small-class model. The series model will be more attractive than the old A2. Audi A2 Concept has a length of 3.8 meters (149.7 inches), 1.69 meters (66.5 inches) wide and a height of 1.49 meters (58.7 inches). Under the hood there will be a full electric motor, about which for the time being Audi refused to present technical data. Audi A2 Concept will present a series of technological solutions. Audi introduced a glass ceiling that changes the opacity at the touch of a button, and taillights will flash in different intensities depending on weather conditions. The headlights will use cutting-edge LED technology called Matrix Beam. The interior itself has also some interesting solutions. The center console will no longer be placed on the floor, but is now attached to the driver’s seat. Rolls Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase at IAA 2011 The Extended Wheelbase version of the Rolls Royce Ghost made its debut at the European Frankfurt Motor Show 2011. More spacious than the original, this version of the sedan was the star at this year’s Rolls Royce stand. Rolls Royce could not come unprepared at IAA 2011. BMW subsidiary decided to expose its first version derived from the new Rolls Royce Ghost, the Extended Wheelbase version. Named Rolls Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase (EWB), this version takes virtually all the standard model architecture, being powered again by the same 6.6-liter biturbo V12 engine capable of developing 570 horsepower and 780 Nm. However, the wheelbase has increased by 17 cm, total length of the Rolls Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase model now accounting for no less than 557 cm. With this extension, the knees of rear-seat passengers can relax much better as the space for them is now almost double. Despite the increase in size, Rolls Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase manages to maintain the same performance as the standard version. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h (0-60 mph) in 5 seconds and a top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h. Volkswagen came at Frankfurt Motor Show 2011 with Beetle R Concept, a prototype that will demonstrate all that this city model is also address to men. The Volkswagen German stand was full of bold ideas, and here we refer to the entire family of little Up! and the Nils Concept.
