In order to properly say goodbye to the current C06 and to celebrate 60 years from the production of the first Corvette, Chevrolet launched a special edition – 2013 Chevy Corvette 427 Convertible Collector Edition. While awaiting the next generation Corvette C7, Chevrolet has decided to properly celebrate the 60 years spent in this segment by the sports model, with a special edition. Named 2013 Chevy Corvette 427 Convertible Collector Edition, the anniversary version is actually a swan song for the current Chevy Corvette C06, scheduled to leave the production this year.
