The super-sport hybrid needs only 9 seconds to accelerate from 0-200 km/h (125 mph), while maximum speed is 325 km/h (202 mph). A Portuguese car company has developed a sporty electric vehicle, which has an autonomy of 402 km (250 miles). Veeco RT1 accelerates from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 8 seconds and can reach 160 km/h (100 mph). The electric cars family received yet another member. It comes from Portugal, it’s called Veeco RT1 and will debut on the market at the middle of this year. Despite its unusual appearance the model can be driven legally on all EU roads. Veeco RT1 is equipped with an 107 bhp engine (80 kW/109 PS) coupled to a 16 kWh LifePO4 battery pack. The “green” model can reach a top speed of 160 km/h (100 mph) and delivers a maximum torque of 450 Nm (332 lb/ft) from the very first rotation. Tata Motors has introduced at Geneva Motor Show 2012 a successor for the Pixel concept presented last year in the same place: this is called Tata Megapixel Concept and comes with a number of interesting features.
