The Korean engineers thought it as a winner, considering that the average consumption figure is 3 liters per 100 km and the amount of emissions fell to 85 g/km. The performances have been possible and thanks to designers who have managed to draw a body with good performance in the wind tunnel, where he obtained a coefficient of only 0,25. Hyundai iFlow has a 0.25Cd drag coefficient, 85g/km CO2 emissions level and 3l/100km fuel consumption. Instead of the usual street-in hybrid electric vehicles, batteries flywheel storage, which is housed inside next to the driver delivers the energy for the electric motors. The memory of the flywheel rotor rotates at up to 40 000 revolutions per minute. The mechanical energy is stored as rotational energy. The flywheel storage is charged during braking procedures, if the two electric machines at the front axle to reverse their role and work as generators. From the loaded storage flywheel, the pilot can, if necessary, ie when accelerating out of corners or when overtaking, whose energy retrieve it by holding the flywheel in the generator is electromagnetically braked and then returns from its kinetic energy up to 120 kW power for the two electric motors at the front axle . Geneva Motor Show 2010

The 80’th edition of the International Geneva Motor Show (Salon International de l’Auto) is an annual auto show held from 4 to 14 March in the Swiss city of Geneva. The show is hosted at the Geneva Palexpo, a convention center located next to the Geneva Cointrin International Airport. First held in 1905, the salon has hosted almost all major internal combustion engine models in the history of the automobile, along with benzene-and steam-powered cars from the beginning of the century. Exotic supercars often steal the spotlight during their debuts at the show. Prototypes, new equipment, technical breakthroughs, international partnerships, as well as political and social debates, have been announced at the exhibition. The show is considered as a level playing field for the world’s automakers, aided by the fact Switzerland lacks an auto industry of its own. This year we expect new surprises: -          Cadillac brand will make its return on the European market with a European premiere – the new coupes CTS and CTS-V the new SRX crossover and, of course, with the Escalade’s hybrid version. -          Concepts: Alfa Romeo Pandion, Alfa Romeo Spider, Citroen DS High Rider, Hyundai i-Flow,  IDEA Hybrid, Mercedes-Benz F800 Style, Opel Flextreme GTE, Peugeot 5, Peugeot SR1, Protoscar Lampo2, Tesla EYE. -          Debuts: Alfa Romeo Pandion Concept, Alfa Romeo...
