It seems that Polestar has targeted two Swedish models, and not one, as expected. Volvo S60 and its wagon version, Volvo V60 turn Polestar in the official Performance Division for Volvo, with the promise that we’ll get to see more interpretations of the current models.
Volvo S60 and V60 Polestar Price & Official Launch
Both tunned up versions brought by Polestar will be available starting next year on four continents. The first Volvo models will reach markets in the UK, the Netherlands, Switzerland , Canada, United States, Japan and of course, Sweden. The rest of the countries in which we’ll enjoy Polestar products as well as the number of copies of the proposed production or prices will be announced next year.
Compared with the classic Volvo S60 and V60 series Polestar comes with a number of major aerodynamic changes, applied after a pre-test in the Volvo wind tunnel. Both cars get extensions for the front spoiler to optimize airflow under the body, and a rear spoiler and deflector responsible for more downforce.
The interior receives the traditional Polestar blue, and new steering wheel , new seats and other lightweight materials.

Now let’s have a look under the bonnet, where we’ll see a T6 six-cylinder engine, turbocharged, capable of delivering 350 horsepower at 5700 rpm and a torque of 500 Nm at 2800 rpm. Sound is provided to those around through a stainless steel exhaust syste.
The engine is assisted by an automatic transmission with six reports with paddles behind the steering wheel, able to achieve acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 4.9 seconds. Maximum speed stops at 250 km/h. Let’s not forget that the T6 resources are exploited by a calibrated wheel drive and a modified ESP.
The added power comes bundled with a 80 % stiffer suspension than the standard, Ohlins dampers and 20-inch Polestar wheels. Braking system receives 371 mm ventilated discs for the front and six-piston calipers signed by Brembo. Hopefully, we’ll receive a video with these two Volvo models in the near future!
