Mercedes-Benz revealed the complete photo gallery with the new 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML SUV. The next generation Mercedes-Benz ML debut will take place at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2011.

After a brochure with the new 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML was scanned and published on the Internet, Mercedes-Benz presented the photo gallery of this model. The new generation 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML debut will take place at the Frankfurt Motor Show this autumn. Among novelties is included the new turbo diesel engine with four cylinders in line that develops 204 hp from a displacement of 2.1 liters. Also in 2012, Mercedes-Benz will launch the 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML hybrid version which will have this diesel engine as a base. The 2.1-liter diesel engine is the entry-level for the ML range and it is called 250 Bluetec. Peak torque is 500 Nm.

The new 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML is equipped both with V6 engines and with V8 engines which are more refined than the units they replace, and consume less fuel. The second engine for the ML range is 350 Bluetec, a 3.0-liter V6 diesel unit that provides 258 hp and 619 Nm. This version takes 7.5 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) and can reach a top speed of 224 km/h (140 mph). For comparison, the 3.0d version of the BMW X5 develops 245 hp and 540 Nm of torque and accelerates from 0-100 km/h (60 mph) in 7.6 seconds.

For the petrol engines fans, the entry-level version for 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML is represented by a 3.5-liter V6 unit that develops 306 hp and 370 Nm. The maximum speed of this model will be 235 km/h (146 mph), but the sprint from 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) is slower than the diesel version.

All the engine versions available on 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML are equipped in standard with all-wheel drive system and with the 7G-Tronic Plus transmission. The adaptive shock absorbers are also standard, and customers can opt for a self-adaptive Airmatic suspension and for the Active Curve system that provides dynamic stabilization of body roll.

Among the optional features on 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML are included items such as Night View Assist with pedestrian recognition, Speed Limit Assist for lane keeping, assistance for blind spots, parking assist system and Distronic Plus (adaptive cruise control with radar). For now, no information about the AMG version of Mercedes ML or any price list.
