The new Volkswagen Touareg on the shelf

The new Volkswagen Touareg is available for purchase today. This is also true for the hybrid version with an average fuel consumption to EU standard of 8.2 liters/100 km, the initial price in Germany is 50 700 euros for the 3.0 TDI V6 with 176 kW/240 hp. The V6 hybrid version 3.0 TSI with 245 kW/333 hp will be available from 73,500 euros. As an additional engine is a 250 kW/340 hp V8 TDI is available.

The new Touareg weighs 208 kilograms less than its predecessor, the fuel consumption and emissions have been reduced by up to 40 percent better. Among the optional technical innovations include the “terrain technology package” that the permanent 4Motion four-wheel drive X also allows tougher assignments in the field, as well as the surrounding view “View Area”, which combines four camera views, and consequently facilitate the driving in confusing environment.

    Is 8.2 liters of fuel for 100 km or 28.6847053 miles per gallon of fuel.
    And “driving in confusing environment” … like… wtf mate, wtf!
