Saab 9-4X Crossover in 2010

The recent resurgence of spy shots of Saab 9-4X a few days before announcement of the Swedish house, which was finally confirmed that the model will go into production (and here we had no more doubts now …) this is an important news –  Saab 9-4X will be presented by the end of this year.

The announcement means that the rest of the production operations will be launched in the latter part of 2010, and that sales will start probably in early 2011. The technical information on the new Swedish SUV however, are slow to emerge: the most probable hypothesis about a whole range of turbo engines, articulated on the 2.0 and 2.8 V6 petrol, and 3.0 V6 diesel with 250 PS developed by VM.

The 9-4X, offer all-wheel drive with Haldex XWD, will probably be available only with six-speed automatic transmission. The Scandinavian model, which will be born on the same Theta platform used by General Motors for the Cadillac SRX will be produced alongside in the American sister factory GM Ramos Arizpe in Mexico.
