Mini Paceman JCW in a photo gallery… yeah, the first pictures were made public. The model presents the classic treatment applied to a JCW version and develops 218 bhp.
Mini Paceman JCW was unveiled on the internet ahead of its official launch at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show. The performance model is the first SUV version of the Oxford brand and comes with the same 1.6 liter engine that provides 218 hp and 280 Nm.

The 1.6 liter engine of 218 hp (163 kW/221 PS) and 280 Nm (207 lb/ft) reaches 300 Nm (221 lb/ft) in overboost mode (2100-4500 rpm).
Mini Paceman JCW makes the 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.9 seconds regardless of the chosen gearbox, by 0.1 seconds faster than its five-door brother. The maximum speed of this model is 226 km/h (140 mph) for the 6-speed manual transmission version, or 224 km/h (139 mph) with the 6-speed automatic transmission version.
In the standard fuel consumption test cycle of the European Union, Mini Paceman JCW has an average consumption of 7.4 liters/100 km (32 mpg US, 38 mpg imperial) for the version with manual transmission, or 7.9 liters/100 km (30 mpg US, 36 mpg imperial) for the version equipped with automatic transmission.
Mini Paceman is a segment C Premium Sports Activity Coupe built on the platform of Mini Countryman. Paceman’s standard version debuted at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, and takes the interior, features and the engine range from the Countryman model.
The Mini Paceman JCW version makes no exception, even having the same color and the same pattern of longitudinal exterior stripes in the official photos. Unlike Countryman, Paceman JCW presents a set of parallel stripes on the side doors, at the bottom, which have a special design.
The new Mini Paceman JCW will make its debut at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show next month, before reaching UK showrooms in mid-March priced from £29,535 (€36,372 – $47,642).
