After an extremely long awaiting, Bentley gives us the first pictures and information of the new Bentley Bentayga, the first SUV designed at Crewe. The new model will be exhibited at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
After several teaser images and a video series which exhibited better performance both off-road and on asphalt, Bentayga Bentley was officially unveiled.
Bentley Bentayga – Design inspired by Continental GT
British manufacturer claims that we face the most luxurious, fastest, most powerful and exclusive tip the SUV segment. The overall design is an evolution of what we saw on the concept EXP 9F, off-road model borrowed the front of the current Continental GT.
Other design details that you entered in segmntul SUVs are protections for the underbody, wheel arches more generous and aluminum roof bars on the roof. Because talk of a pure Bentley design benefits of LED lights, ventilation intakes B-shape and rim sizes from 20 to 22 inches.
For the interior, Bentley has maintained traditional design and launched SUV with seven types of leather upholstery, carefully selected and hand-stitched. There are also metal inserts, stainless steel or aluminum, extremely comfortable seats with a possibility of adjusting the 22 directions and a full length panoramic roof compartment covered with an electric shield when the sun is too strong.
Bentley Bentayga – Rear seats with massage and ventilation
Since we’re talking about a limousine, Bentley offers the opportunity to order new Bentayga two individual rear seats. They offer a 18-way electrically adjustable and can pamper passengers with heating, ventilation, massage and an integrated foot. The two rear seats are separated by a center console that includes generous space for drinks, and plug the USB connection and the possibility of installing a refrigerator.
Under the hood is, as expected, the classic 6.0-liter W12 engine capable of producing 608 horsepower and an impressive torque of 900 Nm. The resources are exploited with an automatic gearbox with eight reports and transmitted via a pin asphalt wheel drive system. With such a package, Bentley SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in about 4 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 301 km / h. All these achievements come bundled with an average consumption of 12.8 liters / 100 km with an emission rate of 292 g / km.
Although orders have already been opened, with over 4,000 customers who filed 30,000 euros to book a Bentayga, Bentley claims that they will have to wait, since the first copies arrive until next spring.
