Although costs $ 1.3 million, SSC Tuatara, the 1350-horsepower supercar that wants to be faster than Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, has already collected 10 orders at the Dubai Motor Show.

Bugatti Veyron Super Sport’s performance stirred the envy of Shelby Supercars, who made a promise to give birth to a sufficiently powerful model to break the world land speed record of a series car.

SSC Tuatara wants to hold the World Land Speed Record
Thus the SSC Tuatara was born, a derivative much more powerful and more attractive than the old SSC Ultimate Aero whose design bears the signature of the famous Jason Castriota. In order to make known the new supercar, but also to find a distributor in the Middle East, Jerod Shelby, SSC founder, decided to participate in the Dubai Motor Show.
It seems that the decision was very inspired, SSC Tuatara attracting interest of the Middle East sheikh as a magnet. Although the American supercar price is 1.3 million dollars, Shelby received not less than 10 orders for SSC Tuatara.
With $ 13 million in account, Jerod can now calmly find a dealer in the area, especially since interest for SSC Tuatara proves high enough.
SSC Tuatara Top Speed
The supercar designed by Jason Castriota is using a 6.6 liter V8 engine capable to develop a total of 1350 horsepower. The resources promise a sprint from 0 to 62 mph (0-100km/h) in 2.8 seconds, 0 to 224 mph (360 km/h) in just 16 seconds and a top speed of, wait for it… 275 mph (442 km/h).
SSC Tuatara wasn’t the only hit at Dubai Motor Show, Lamborghini Aventador also collecting 14 orders.
