Lamborghini has developed a Super Veloce variant for the Aventador Roadster:Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV Roadster. The starting price of the 750 hp convertible is 357,000 EUR ~395,000 USD, without taxes, and it will be build in only 500 copies.
Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Super Veloce Roadster, the latest creation of the Italian car manufacturer, was unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The newest creation from Sant’Agata is 50 kilograms lighter than the version that is based on and has 50 additional horsepower.
The new specification ensures a sprint from 0-100 km/h 2.9 seconds and a top speed of over 350 km/h. The Italians have announced the starting price on the European market of their new model, which will cost 357,000 EUR without taxes and only 500 cars will be produced in this configuration.
The first deliveries of the Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV Roadster will take place in early 2016.
New creation of the Italian brand has a power/weight ratio of 2.1 kilograms per horsepower, considering the 1,575 kilograms of the Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV Roadster. Another feature of the new variant is the electrically operated rear window, which allows occupants to enjoy the choice of sound motorization supplied by the V12 engine, which promises “invigorating and harmonious tones.”
The ceiling consists of two parts and is made of carbon fiber. Each of the two pieces weigh less than 6 kilograms and the two can be stored in the trunk when the car becomes convertible. The hardtop roof type of the convertible is manually operated.
