Ferrari F40 sets a new record auction sale: 1.2 million EUR

Ferrari F40 is starting to become one of the most sought after models of the Italian manufacturer. The legendary supercar was sold recently in an auction for the amount of 1.2 million EUR.

Always seen as the last car that Enzo Ferrari and put his signature, the legendary F40 has become one of the most popular classic supercars. Therefore the price that can be purchased with such a model has greatly increased in recent years.

An auction house recently recorded a new record price paid for the Ferrari F40. Copy, produced in 1992, managed to attract 1.12 million euros, the largest amount paid for F40.

The car had only one owner from 1992 to the present, an Italian family who purchased it just off the production line. The new owner is a German businessman, who wished to remain anonymous.

Introduced in 1987, to celebrate 40 years since the establishment of the company, Ferrari F40 was produced in a limited number of copies, ie only 1315 units. No wonder that at the launch was the most powerful, fastest and most expensive Ferrari in the world, powered by a V8 turbo, 478 horsepower.
