Bugatti unveiled the new Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo, a concept created to take part in virtual races from the new Gran Turismo 6 game. The prototype will be exhibited in the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show to announce the brand’s new design direction.
After a series of teaser images that have kept fans breathless, Bugatti officially unveiled the Vision Gran Turismo concept, ready to officially debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Designed specifically to take part in virtual races of Gran Turismo 6, a Bugatti concept materialized. According to the communique published today, Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo comes with a design that celebrates the various motorsport experiences of the brand and technological advances hidden under the bonnet.
The concept is a tribute to the Bugatti victories of the 1920s and 1930s at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Developed in conjunction with Polyphony Digital, the company that creates Gran Turismo, the new Bugatti concept is focused on two ideas: the supercar had to be identified as a Bugatti in an instant and each part of the body to be functional with a specific role. Therefore, the design was created following precise aerodynamic studies.
Looking at the exterior, Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo concept adopts the most important aesthetic details of the brand: highly fluid profile, horseshoe shaped front grille, LED taillights, round air vents carefully placed along the bodywork.
“We wanted to develop a supercar for virtual competitions dedicated to our fans, a true Bugatti to the last detail, able to convey brand values. We hope that fans of computer games will have fun as much as we do when we designed the concept, “said team chief designers.
