One of the last editions of the Bugatti Veyron supercar could receive a total of 1,200 horsepower, squeezed from the same 8.0-liter W16 engine, what could be the most (powerful) swan song model…
Ferdinand Piech, chairman of the board of Volkswagen Group, recently held a speech at the University of Vienna, during which he made references to a potential “performance version” of the Bugatti supercar.
Currently, the 8-liter W16 engine is capable of delivering 1001 horsepower, but has repeatedly talked about the untapped potential of -complete unity. Engineers argue that it can squeeze a total capacity of at least 1,200 hp, resources which would have radically rise supercar’s performance and would further push the speed limit which can currently can be reached – 407 km/h.

Sweet pictures! I love the look of the new Veyron
