Chevrolet marks the start of sales for the new Corvette Stingray with a limited edition of 500 units called 2014 Stingray Premiere Edition.
Chevrolet announced it will produce a limited number of 500 copies of the new Corvette Stingray called Premiere Edition. With this limited edition Chevrolet marks the start of the series production of the new supercar, but also celebrated 60 years of the sport model. All 500 units are based on the new top version of the 2013 Corvette Stingray named 3LT and will be painted in Blue Lagoon, while the interior will be pampered with Brownstone suede and carbon fiber inserts.
2014 Corvette Stingray Premier Edition’s exterior
Specific items available only for the Premier Edition include a carbon fiber roof, a modified exhaust and the Z51 Performance Package with Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension. Let’s not forget its specific bonnet and the Stingray logo placed on thresholds and rims. In addition, those who purchase the new Premier Edition of Stingray can opt for a full set of travel bags created by Thule and customized by Chevrolet.
All 500 copies of the Stingray Premier Edition will have an identification number (VIN) beginning with 300001 plus a serial number plate located in the cockpit. Have we forgot to mention its diesel engine? Nope, as it remained unchanged: good old 6.2-liter V8 engine that develops 455 hp.
