The New Toyota Supra could debut at 2018 Geneva Motor Show

Close associates of the Japanese automaker Toyota say that the new Toyota Supra will be premiered at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. The same sources claim that the Japanese sports car will bear the mark of Gazoo Racing and will be offered in several versions of power.

Toyota is preparing to reveal the new Supra. The company’s close associates claim that the model will be exhibited for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2018 and the commercial debut is scheduled for the second part of next year (2019).

The same sources say that the new Toyota Supra will bear the signature of the Gazoo Racing division and the sports model will be available in four different versions: Supra, Supra GR, Supra GR Sport and Supra GRMN (Gazoo Racing Masters of Nurburgring). Thus, each version would offer different powers, but also specific settings for the drivetrain.

Depending on the power version, it is possible that the future  Toyota Supra may also come with some hybrid technology inspired by the prototypes used by Toyota in the World Championship of Endurance.

A 3.5-liter V6 turbo engine that produces more than 400 horsepower is expected to be offered to the new sports car. A manual gearbox appears on the automaker’s list despite the fact that older information claimed that Toyota Supra will have an automatic transmission.
