The French subsidiary of Ford has presented the collection Le Mans Classic of Focus RS, which consists of five models, each dedicated to a Blue Oval car that triumphed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with the exception of copy livery white/blue dedicated to Capri 2600 RS that won the ’72 tourism championship. The other four Ford Focus RS are dedicated to 60′s GT40 Shelby Mk II that had the black livery with gold stripes running lengthwise, the GT40 Shelby Mk IV ’67 red with white longitudinal bands, the GT40 Mk II B had the white with blue longitudinal stripes edged red and the legendary GT40 Mk I – from the distinctive blue and orange body – that won the ’68 and ’69 editions of the French endurance race.
