The French subsidiary of Ford has presented the collection Le Mans Classic of Focus RS, which consists of five models, each dedicated to a Blue Oval car that triumphed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with the exception of copy livery white/blue dedicated to Capri 2600 RS that won the ’72 tourism championship. The other four Ford Focus RS are dedicated to 60′s GT40 Shelby Mk II that had the black livery with gold stripes running lengthwise, the GT40 Shelby Mk IV ’67 red with white longitudinal bands, the GT40 Mk II B had the white with blue longitudinal stripes edged red and the legendary GT40 Mk I – from the distinctive blue and orange body – that won the ’68 and ’69 editions of the French endurance race. With 560 hp and 100 kg less than the classic version V10, Audi R8 GT promises 3.6 seconds for 0-100 km/h  and a top speed  of 320 km/h. Audi R8 fans have a new reason for joy after the weekend that just passed. The German car manufacturer presented R8 GT official information and photos, a sporty version of the model from Ingolstadt will be produced in a limited edition of 333 copies. 193,000 euros will be the price to pay if you want to own this awesome supercar. Among the changes that it has received by R8 V10 Coupe is distinguished especially changes related to implementation of solutions to improve weight loss of the car. Audi engineers have managed so to cut 100 kg of unladen mass R8 by fitting a thinner windshield glass, changed rear spoiler, thinning the substitution’s rear hatch, rear spoiler and the dark side “blade“, replacing them with elements made of lightweight carbon fiber and reinforced plastic. The sportiest version of the Car of the Year will be launched during 2012. Polo R will have 210 hp. Volkswagen will release in 2012 a version R of the Polo model, which until now has had in the top of the power model just a GTI version. According to information published today by the Autocar, for those of Volkswagen is to populate and win a bigger slice of the segment subcompact hatch sports sites, which today stands out by Clio RS, Mini JCW or Citroen DS3R. A famous name returns: Gordini. The first model is a new, especially sporting facilities set of Renault in May 2010, the Twingo RS Gordini. The vehicle in the exclusive metallic paintwork “Gordini Blue” is available at prices from 16 990 euros. The distinctive color is a tribute to the mostly blue-painted Sport models by Amédée Gordini. It’s hard to believe it’s been two decades since Mazda first showed the world how to build a classic British sports car right. The roadster known as the Miata and MX-5 at different times and places around the world is 20 years old. To celebrate Mazda MX-5’s 20th birthday in France, Mazda rolled out a special edition MX-5 Matte and Black Edition at the Salon du Cabriolet, Coupé & SUV. There aren’t any power upgrades so this MX-5 Matte and Black Edition models are still powered by a 167-hp 2.0L 4-cylinder engine.
