Jaguar will unveil this fall at Paris Motor Show, the new F-Type. Jaguar F-Type is a sport convertible car derived from the exceptional concept C-X16.
Good news for Jaguar fans: the C-X16 concept, shown at Frankfurt Motor Show in September last year, will have a series version. This will be called Jaguar F-Type and will be a top performance convertible, appearing in showrooms during 2013.

Although the British didn’t provided many details about the new model, the press release, in which some teaser images appear, shows that Jaguar F-Type will have only two seats and will come under the bonnet with a potent petrol engine range, consequently a new family of turbocharged units. According to the specialized press in U.K., the most powerful engine will be a V6 Turbo, around 380 horsepower.
“A true sports car must be pure as design and shape. It was a privilege for me and my team to have the opportunity to produce this type of car. C-Type, D-Type and E-Type were sports cars that have remained faithful to the principles of the era in which they were born, and F-Type will be true to the principles of its era, one that is due to arrive,” said Ian Callum, Jaguar Design Director.
More information and official photos of the new Jaguar F-Type will be published by the British manufacturer in the second half of this year, before the official debut at Paris Motor Show 2012 in September.
