Toyota introduced the first official pictures of the new Yaris. It comes with a more aggressive look, which promises to change the image in its segment.
Japanese from Toyota submitted the first official pictures of the new generation Yaris. The model has a similar appearance to that of HSD Hybrid version presented this spring at the Geneva Motor Show. Yaris fits perfectly with the new design language applied by Toyota, the new model lines are drawn with skill over the form that has characterized this model, there is no risk of losing its identity. Moreover, the new Toyota Yaris is now more aggressive and dynamic, a pleasant change compared to current generation.
At the interior of Toyota Yaris, the board gauges were placed behind the wheel, just like in other models in the segment and from Toyota range. So, the driver loses the two glove box for a clearer instrument panel, change towards better, we say. The new Toyota images presented in the press release has the top equipment version with navigation system, leather seats, leather steering wheel and more. That level of equipment, most likely Luna, has a leather steering wheel with red stitching and the same sewing are found on chairs. The board gauges are generously sized and fuel level indicator, rev counter and speedometer are on analog display.
For now, there is no concrete information about the new Toyota Yaris engine range. Most likely, the range of engines will include 1.0 and 1.3 liters Otto engines, improved versions of the existing units. Instead, the hybrid version of this model will debut in 2013 and will use the Hybrid Synergy Drive technology (Toyota Yaris HSD) along with an Otto engine of a smaller displacement.
