We are talking about the 6.0 liter engine capable to deliver 517 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and torque of 570 Nm at 5750 rpm. These features make this V12 Vantage Roadster the fastest convertible Aston Martin ever created, with a sprint from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 305 km/h (190 mph)!

The 12-cylinder engine can be tested in two different ways. With the new “Sport” button, located right on the dashboard, the driver can choose between a more relaxed or aggressive driving style. When in relaxed mode, you’ll have a less intuitive throttle response and a lowered discharge tone, characteristics useful in day to day use. The second mode, Sport, guarantees unbeatable dynamics, with a responsive throttle and faster torque. The engine sound is modified as well, awakening the beast made famous by Aston Martin.

Although the roadster architecture is similar to the coupe’s, this new model adopts new elements that increase rigidity. In addition, cargo door was redesigned to hide the fabric roof and rear spoiler was also retouched.

While on the road, your experience will be influenced by small changes made to the rear suspension, and the new Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires.

At the external level, the V12 Vantage Roadster is distinguished with many carbon fiber inserts, found in the mirrors and extensions for both spoiler and bonnet. The back is dominated by a wing and a deflector which includes two large tailpipes.

Prices for the Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster have not been announced.
