Bentley celebrates 60 years on the throne of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain with a special edition limousine, called Bentley Mulsanne Diamond Jubilee.

Bentley Mulsanne received a new special edition, called Diamond Jubilee Edition honoring 60 years on the throne of Queen Elizabeth II, monarch of the United Kingdom since 1952 when she became Head of the Commonwealth and queen regnant of seven independent Commonwealth countries: the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Pakistan, and Ceylon. Her coronation service in 1953 was the first to be televised.

2012 Bentley Mulsanne Diamond Jubilee

Unlike most of the new cars presented in recent days, the special edition Mulsanne didn’t made its debut from the 2012 Beijing Auto Show. The special luxury car will be built in just 60 copies and celebrates six decades since Elizabeth Alexandra Mary became Queen Elizabeth II, monarch of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth realms.

Bentley Mulsanne Diamond Jubilee Edition is equipped with many dedicated items, such as special embroidered trim, a set of rear seat cushions and many more.

The first difference appears on the front grille, equipped with the “flying” version of the Bentley logo, while the front side presents a series of additional chrome trims. The front grid also has a chrome frame. The D pillar has a Bentley logo and the model is offered with a set of alloy wheels with special design.

In addition to numerous “Diamond Jubilee” inscriptions, the interior has a Naim audio system, a multimedia system dedicated to the rear seats, light alloy pedals and walnut decorations.

Bentley Mulsanne Diamond Jubilee has a 6.75 liter twin-turbo V8 engine that develops 512 horsepower (382 kW/520 PS) and 1020 Nm (752 lb/ft).

The engine provides a time for 0-100 km/h (62 mph) of 5.3 seconds and a top speed of 296 km/h (184 mph). Despite this performance, the 8-speed ZF gearbox assists the luxury car to achieve an average fuel consumption of 16.9 liters/100 kilometers (16.7 mpg imperial, 13.9 mpg US) and the CO2 emissions are just 393 grams/kilometer.

2012 Bentley Mulsanne Diamond Jubilee has a total mass of 2585 kilograms (5700 lbs) and a length of 5575 millimeters (220 inches).
