Volkswagen Golf 7 Release Date – September
Neue Nationalgalerie is a modern art gallery opened in Berlin and Volkswagen will take advantage of an opportunity to expose a future bestseller in front of a German audience.
To date, the Volkswagen engineers have managed to keep “locked up” pictures of the next Golf 7, without having any pictures on the internet accidentally lost. It’s a shame, the new compact German car is announced to be briliant!
The new Volkswagen Golf 7 was expected to make its debute at the Paris Motor Show 2012. This new variant is the first Volkswagen receiving a MQB modular platform, which is sharing it, for now, with the new Audi A3 and the new Seat Leon.
The first information announces 1.2 and 1.4 TSI engines with Active Cylinder Management, the cylinder deactivation system implemented by Volkswagen. In addition, are also expected 1.6 and 2.0 TDI engines, with a top of the range 2.0 TSI, which will have two power levels, corresponding versions GTI and R.
Future Golf 7 will be the first successful series model of Volkswagen that will integrate a hybrid drive train while an electric version is seriously considered.
The Germans from Volkswagen have tested the gasoline-electric drive trains and diesel-electric trains, final solution has not yet been revealed.
While we don’t have any spy-photos for the new Volkswagen Golf 7, here are some shots made at the VW testing ground:
