Malaysian automaker Proton will present a hybrid concept vehicle at the 2010 Geneva Auto Show that was made in cooperation with its British subsidiary – Lotus Engineering and Italdesign Giugiaro. The car will be displayed on the Italdesign stand.
Manufacturer will also be a little-known niche, but Proton has already understood the hint: in the current market serves as a crossover version of the bread. And so, at the Geneva Motor Show, the manufacturer will present the Malaysian unknown Hybrid Concept and its version raw, dressed up for the off-road bumper fascias with lightweight plastic and some metal insert to highlight the increased masculinity. Yet to understand whether the structure will change, but the image invites us to think otherwise.
The concept car Proton, as the sedan of origin, will have a length of 3:55 m, which has managed to optimize Giugiaro – appears to favor the absence of the B-pillar – to get good interior space from the C segment with room for five passengers and a place raised driving in style SUV. The battery pack will be prepared the cavity created by the sandwich floor, while the electric motor is disposed at the rear to move the rear wheels.
