Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Concept has been treated as a celebrity at Paris Motor Show. Two weeks before its debut, the Italians gave us numerous signs announcing the creation of a car that will redefine the future of sport vehicles. Lamborghini named Sesto Elemento – “the sixth element”– wishing to emphasize its unique super car character. Moreover, it is believed that the denomination of the fireball was inspired by the carbon atom number (six), an element that led to the creation of the concept.
We are not talking about a revolutionary car, but of an extremely advanced vehicle, based on the latest technologies, utilized exclusively in the top automobile sectors.
Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is surrounded at Paris Motor Show 2010 by a huge number of superlatives. It is the fastest Lamborghini in history, Sesto Elemento managing to reach the speed of 100 kilometers in just 2.5 seconds, a feature that makes it the equal of Bugatti Veyron . Its maximum speed exceeds 300 km/h. It is the lightest super car in the whole history, having a total mass of only 999 kg. Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is entirely made of carbon fiber (CFRP)- used to manufacture the body and carbon ceramic and aluminum found in the suspensions, rims and engine.
No other “machine hero” of our times can achieve what Lamborghini Sesto Elemento has managed to do now. The sensational Lamborghini Sesto Elemento fireball uses a V10 engine, developing 570 hp. The engine is placed longitudinally in the back of the super car, providing maximum power at 8.000 rpm and a maximum torque of 540 Nm at 6500 rpm. Its entire force is delivered on both axles, the four-wheel drive system being a constant component in Lamborghini production process.
The fuel consumption and carbon dioxide carbon emissions have not been determined, but it is suggested that the concept features properties considered impossible until now. Thanks to its fine silhouette and perfected aerodynamics, Sesto Elemento has a very modest appetite when it comes to fuel consumption.
Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, contemptuously presented at Paris Motor Show 2010, is considered by many supercar lovers to be better than Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera.
However, this is the fastest variant offered by Lamborghini, a dream super car which exceeds all our expectations.
