Images of this model have surfaced online and presents a sporty vehicle with a futuristic look that portrays the evolution of L-Finesse philosophy used by the future series models from Lexus, including the future GS and IS.

The new Lexus LF-LC Concept has some design lines reminding of the LF-GH and LF-A, especially at the rear and in the shape of the front bumper. The concept model’s name is an acronym for Lexus Future, and the letters L and C are suggesting a Coupe version of the LS. Such a version is in discussion since 2010, and the model could debut on the market in 2015 if it will received approval for production soon.

The series version of Lexus LF-LC Concept might substitute the SC model and would fight in the segment of Mercedes-Benz SL. Its platform could be a shortened version of the future LS, model which will debut in 2014. Most likely, the model will use the engine of LS600h and will be named LC600h, following to offer superior dynamic performance to the sedan that it is based on.
