After the first images with Lamborghini Urus Concept were revealed on the Internet three days before its official debut, Lamborghini had no choice but to hasten the official announcement.

The Lamborghini Urus Concept will be present at Lamborghini stand in Beijing, but the Italians say it is only a design study. It is clear that a positive response from press and public will speed up the appearance of the concept in a series version. If will get into production, Lamborghini Urus will be animated by an engine that will develop around 600 hp.
The Urus name is inspired, as usual, by a bull. This time, we speak of a Spanish bull, famous for its size. Lamborghini Urus Concept has a length of 4.99 meters (197 inches), but has a lower profile than the competition. The ceiling has curved lines for aerodynamic reasons. The ground clearance will be adjustable.
The concept SUV comes with huge 24 inch wheels. The specific signature of these wheels is the red line at the outer edge. The color used on the Lamborghini Urus Concept is the same liquid red that we saw on the unique Lamborghini Aventador J model.
The interior of Urus is unique, carbon fiber inserts being found in abundance. All elements were designed to be lightweight and to have a sporty look, like the four individual clamshell seats upholstered with leather. Although it seems complicated, the interior of Lamborghini Urus Concept was designed to simplify operation of various controls. Official figures say that Urus will have all- wheel drive and dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
The Urus project, chosen with priority over a four-door sedan derived from the Estoque concept, comes to enhance the idea of a sporty concept particular to the Italian brand. The design is inspired by the brand’s sports models, aggressive angular lines are present also on the Lamborghini Urus Concept. If the exterior is a variety of a retouched and lifted Gallardo, however without looking like a freak of nature, as it was with the Bentley SUV concept presented at Geneva 2012, the interior brings the same qualities that we find in the range: clean lines, angular design and a large vertical display covering the dashboard.
