2015 Subaru Legacy Concept Design

The premiere, named how else than Subaru Legacy Concept suggests a series of sharp lines, drawn on a bodywork with new proportions.

The front look is dominated by a hexagonal grille with three chrome horizontal lines flanked by angular optical blocks with clear lenses. Also we observe the bumper with discrete air intakes, but sporty, suggesting performance.

The rear comes with deeply carved lines, and C-shaped taillights. 2015 Subaru Legacy Concept also has notches in the bumper to suggest sportiness, and a false deflector. The trunk door was also modeled to simulate the presence of a spoiler.

The profile of the concept adopts sculptural lines, a set of 21-inch wheels aerodynamically optimized and side mirrors replaced with video cameras. The custom paint of the 2015 Subaru Legacy Concept is called Ocean Silver Metallic.

Although 2015 Subaru Legacy Concept impresses with the extremely aggressive design, the concept doesn’t guarantee that the same line will be used on the production versions of Legacy and Outback.

The new 2015 Subaru Legacy Concept is expected to make its official debut next week in Los Angeles, California, at the Los Angeles Convention Center on the occasion of the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — November 14, 2013. Subaru of America, Inc. announced today it will debut the Subaru LEGACY CONCEPT at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. The new LEGACY CONCEPT celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Subaru Legacy and provides a look at the styling cues for future Legacy models.

Adorned with a custom Ocean Silver Metallic paint scheme, the LEGACY CONCEPT features a more coupe-like silhouette. The LEGACY CONCEPT is a modern interpretation of the Legacy and features a more distinguished front design with a new hexagonal grille and a sharper hawk-eye headlamp design.

Flared wheel arches cover 21-inch wheels and hint at the standard Subaru Symmetrical all-wheel drive drivetrain. A pronounced character line flows into the short rear deck and ends in the rear tail lamps. The tail lamps echo the hawk-eye headlamp design and enhance the solidity of the overall design.
