The future BMW M4 is expected to hit the shops in 2014 but we shall see it by the end of the year at various motor shows. The new BMW model will have a 3.0 liter engine capable of delivering 415 HP and a torque of 545 Nm. Satisfied with the aggressive design of the new 4 Series Coupe Concept, the public eagerly awaits an M version this year, ready to take the place of the current BMW M3.
The mystery surrounds the fate of the most popular model in BMW’s history seems to be shattered as we approach the Geneva Auto Show 2013.
A forum dedicated to the brand managed to come into possession of a data sheet, which is believed that might be the one of the future BMW M4. According to the information printed on the form, the future performance model will be powered by a gasoline engine, codenamed S55 that has a capacity of 3.0 liters.

A six-cylinder unit will replace the current V8 and will be able to deliver a total power of 310 kW, the equivalent of 415 HP. The torque of BMW M4 will be more generous in the new engine case and will stop at 545 Nm (402 lb/ft) , delivered to the rear axle via a Heck transmission.
As expected, the new BMW M4 will have a completely modified chassis with an adaptive M suspension and other improvements intended to provide an unadulterated spirit of performance. And to ensure good enough numbers , worthy of the rival Audi RS5, the new BMW M4 will be the subject of a total weight reduction program. The result will be a coupe of only 1549 kg, much easier than its predecessors.
The German model will also have the latest comfort and safety technologies. Among them, a 360 degree-view camera, a parking assist system, the lane change warning, automatic headlights with adaptive beam. dimming mirrors, color head-up display and of course the Connected Drive services.
Release date: BMW M4 is expected later this year, but its production will begin later in the spring of 2014. BMW M4 Prices have not been announced.
