Honda Civic Tourer Concept finally made its appearance at the Geneva Motor Show today. Western European fans waited breathlessly the concept from Honda which will inspire future Civic Wagon. Officially called Civic Tourer Concept, the model is actually a pre-series version of the future variant of the Civic family car, final model will only cover a few more added details. Reason is quite simple: car looks fantastic!
Besides the already usual Honda NSX concept presented in all showrooms, Honda booked us a surprise today in Geneva: Honda Civic Tourer Concept.
Probably inspired by the success of the compact models and eager to bring more customers through a Civic that was well received by the public, Honda surprised us today. It’s a Civic SW Concept, a design study that will materialize in a wagon version of the model.
I’ve never seen such agitated people on the Honda stand. A good sign for the Japanese, who strove to meet the demand for press materials. USB sticks and specification sheets flew from left to right. Civic Tourer Concept consciously posed to journalists and actually seemed surprised by the interest he has aroused.

Production model which will see the light at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September will take the basic attributes of the 11th generation Civic hatchback while improving the back of the car and side. Break launched by Honda is likely to become one of the most beautiful models on the market, characterized by curved lines that “flow” around the car and dominating taillights which communicate through a red glass band at the base of the rear window.
Of course, many futuristic elements will still be found on the series version, such as LED lights, the LED daytime running lights and exhaust tailpipes. The prototype also features strongly inclined roofline, tinted windows and hidden rear door handles.
