Geneva 2013 Live: 2014 Bentley Continental Flying Spur

2014 Bentley Continental Flying Spur was officially presented at 2013 Geneva Motor Show in an olive green color. The car has more sporty design details, several elements being borrowed from the Continental GT and Continental GTC.

2014 Bentley Continental Flying Spur made its world debut, here, at 83rd Salon International de l’Auto in Geneva. The British consider it to be “the world’s most refined performance sedan.”

2014 Bentley Continental Flying Spur has new mirrors, lower positioned handles, a new front and rear lights, new doors, a more raised front grille, different ending of the ceiling and quad exhaust pipes. Once again we have LED optical blocks and 19- to 21-inch alloy wheels are available.

Mechanically, under the bonnet will initially be a 6.0-liter W12 engine, 625 horsepower performance with 590 pound-feet of torque (800 Nm). Combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission, 2014 Bentley Continental Flying Spur reaches 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.6 seconds with a top speed of 200 mph (322 km/h). It has a mixed fuel economy of 14.7 liters/100 km (16.00 MPG US / 19.22 MPG Imp.) and 343 g/km CO2 emissions.

The chassis has been revised, the torsional rigidity has increased by 4%, now having 36.500 Nm/degree. It weighs 50 kilograms less thanks to the use of aluminum and composite polymers.

2014 Bentley Continental Flying Spur interior is fitted with better quality materials and a new 8-inch infotainment system. A novelty is also represented by the sun visors, handles, the new leather seats, and wooden trims. At the back there are two 10-inch screens, wireless headphones, 64 GB hard drive and Wi-Fi connectivity.
