2012 Chevrolet Cruze Design

The 2012 Chevrolet Cruze‘s frontal appearance suffered important changes, headlights being redesigned, with a new radiator grille and new projectors. The bumper spoiler has also been retouched, and the alloy wheels now have new models.

Inside, Cruze’s center console has been restyled and the interior has received a wide range of upholstery.

Among the technologies that customers of this model will enjoy: keyless access system, engine start button and the new MyLink infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen that enables access to photo galleries, phonebook, videos, personal rendering lists and the media files from the smartphone’s memory.

2012 Chevrolet Cruze Engines

Alongside the facelift, Chevrolet will introduce new engines. In addition to the 1.6 and 1.8 liter otto units, the 2012 Chevrolet Cruze will be offered with a 1.4 Turbo engine.

The diesel engine range will include a new 1.7-liter and a 2.0-liter units optimized for low consumption. The 1.4, 1.7 and 2.0 liters units are equipped with a standard start-stop system and the entire range of engines comply with the Euro 5 rules.

Chevrolet Volt – Chevrolet Tru 140S Concept – Chevrolet Code 130R Concept

Alongside the 2012 Chevrolet SW Cruze, the Americans display at their stand the 2012 Camaro, the new Chevrolet Volt – who was named the 2012 European Car of the Year, an award it will share with its European fraternal twin, the Opel Ampera, the car with whom the Americans dominate the WTCC, and the Chevrolet Code 130R and Chevrolet Tru 140S concepts.

Strangely named by the GM officials, the two creations from the American design studios will predict two different series models. Chevrolet Code 130R is meant to be a small muscle-car, while Chevrolet Tru 140S is a coupe created on Cruze’s platform.
