Geneva 2010: Opel Meriva with prices starting from 15 990 euros

The new Opel Meriva, yesterday on the 80th Geneva Motor Show – in world premiere,  it’s available for purchase today. Prices start in conjunction with the 74 kW / 100 hp 1.4-engine at 15 900 euros. The rear-hinged rear doors of the 4.28-meter-long vessel, the boarding and alighting to and unfasten, and the children well. At its market launch, three petrol engines and diesel engines are available. Other diesel variants, with outputs of 70 kW / 95 to 96 kW / 130 hp can be ordered from July. ESP, front side and curtain airbags and adaptive brake lights are off base model standard. The standard specification for the entry model selection also includes the space-saving electric parking brake (EPB), Hill Start Assist, electric heated mirrors, front electric windows, central locking with radio remote control for doors, trunk and gas cap, the height-adjustable rear cargo floor for comfortable loading and a height-adjustable driver’s seat and height and longitudinally adjustable steering wheel.

The Edition models also come with the Flexrail center console between the front seats, including sliding armrest and sliding cupholder. There are also air-conditioning, alloy wheels, cruise control and stereo CD-Radio CD300. For the interior, three colors are available.

The equipment innovation is available in two color combinations. It offers beyond the Edition equipment halogen curve and cornering lights, rear electric windows, multi-stage seat heating for driver and front passenger, a heated leather steering wheel with steering wheel remote control, and 16-inch design wheels and fog lights.
