The second model signed by Bugatti Legends series will début at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show under the code name: Jean Bugatti. The new automobile is painted black and pays tribute to Jean Bugatti, son of company founder and creator of the Type 57SC Atlantic – the most expensive car in the world today.
2013 Bugatti Veyron: Jean Bugatti Edition
Bugatti Veyron will receive a new edition here in Frankfurt by introducing Jean Bugatti Edition. The new masterpiece is part of the Legends series, which celebrates iconic personalities that influenced the brand and is based on the 16.4 Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. The first model launched under this title was dedicated to Jean-Pierre Wimille and presented just a while ago at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
Now back to the second model in this six-part edition, available in flesh and bones at the Auto Show in Frankfurt dedicated to Jean Bugatti: Built in just three „Jean Bugatti” Grand Sport Vitesse copies, same as each limited edition Legends series, the price of this model will be 2.28 million euros, without any taxes or other costs.
2013 Bugatti Veyron: Jean Bugatti Edition Specs
Buy this great new car TODAY and you’ll receive a 8-litre W16 engine generating an enormous 1,200 PS and an unparalleled 1,500 Nm torque at 3,000 to 5,000 rpm which can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds, customized to follow the concept behind Type 57SC Atlantic Voiture Noire.
Inside, the leather has a beige and brown tone, recalling the 57SC Atlantic model. Among the special details of the interior we include special stitching, embroidery on doors and roof covering as well as veneer rosewood.
As the floor of the vehicle sits between the longitudinal chassis members rather than on the frame itself, this means that the wheels are offset from the body and accentuated by enormous wings, thereby providing the car with a footwell. Seen from above, the extremely long bonnet flows to the rear of the vehicle in an oval shape, further highlighting the graceful and elegant design of the Atlantic.
The body is made of carbon fiber painted in a glossy black color having the Bugatti logo made of platinum making this the first time when Bugatti uses this material. Changes include alloy wheels with a diamond finish and signature of Jean Bugatti engraved using lasers on fuel cap and oil cap.
