Auto China 2010: The Mitsubishi PX-MiEV Concept – scented with decreasing concentration

Mitsubishi  PX-MiEV the SUV concept car that will get along with about two liters of fuel per 100 km, finally seen these days at the Beijing Auto Show from China (23.4.-2.5.2010). PX does is plug-in hybrid crossover and MiEV for Mitsubishi innovative Electric Vehicle. The 4.51-meter-long four-wheel-study has a 1.6-liter engine with 85 kW / 115 hp, which is supported by two electric motors with a total of 60 kW / 82 hp to the front axle. At low speed, the combustion engine is used only as a generator.

Up to 50 km, the PX-MiEV is pure electric drive. The two electric motors at the front allow a variable distribution of drive torque between the left and right side of the vehicle. Besides the new drive concept Mitsubishi concept car demonstrates the new security technologies. This includes a “Driving Monitor System”, by the camera recorded the eye movements of the driver and with decreasing concentration is not only caustic and optical signals are, but also emits a distinctive fragrance.
