2014 Audi RS7 Sportback, the new “bad boy” of the Germans has appeared on the international stage at 2013 Detroit Auto Show (North American International Auto Show) and the oversized five-door coupe is ready to show off its muscles on the road.
The German manufacturer respects its reputation and the newest member of the RS range arrives at the NAIAS 2013 equipped with an engine that seems to be touched by the downsizing trend.

The new 2014 Audi RS7 Sportback has a 4.0 twin-turbo TFSI V8 engine, a “power plant” that develops 560 HP available between 5700-6700 RPM and a maximum 553 pound-feet of torque (700 Nm) that can be operated between 1,750 and 5,500 RPM.
These are the data on paper, but according to Audi, in practice this leads to a sprint from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.9 seconds. Although the standard speed is limited to 155 mph (250 km/h), customers can choose either a Dynamic Package that allows a top speed of 174 mph (280 km/h) or the Dynamic Package Plus, which offers a maximum speed of 189 mph (305 km/h).
The Quattro all-wheel drive system it’s standard for the 2014 Audi RS7 Sportback, while the 8-speed automatic transmission has been specially adjusted to fit the sporty character emitted by the German coupe.
The athletic bodywork is made of 20% aluminum and is reinforced with ultra-strong steel elements. The 20-inch ultra-light forged wheels are impressive, as well as the perforated disc brakes, the six-piston calipers and the two elliptical final dischargers.
Although the manufacturer has not specified 2014 Audi RS7 Sportback price, these will probably be published in the near future.
