Nissan Pathfinder Concept debuted at Detroit Auto Show 2012 (North American International Auto Show – NAIAS 2012). The new concept from Nissan anticipates the next generation of the SUV, and also a new design line.

2012 Nissan Pathfinder Concept – Novelties
After a series of teasers that have aroused the interest of fans, Nissan unveiled at Detroit Auto Show 2012 the concept of the next Pathfinder. Designed as a future SUV loved by the general public, Nissan Pathfinder was in the past a model intended only for off-road, now aiming to combine its Spartan features with something more comfort for passengers.
Significant changes were also made to the exterior which gained the appearance of a more versatile car, designed for adventurous customers. In addition, this design lines will be found on several future models across the range.
Versatility is a defining feature of the new 2012 Nissan Pathfinder Concept, and the interior can accommodate up to seven passengers in three rows of seats with enough legroom.
To make one of the most efficient models with seven seats on the market, Nissan has used a 25% more efficient V6 engine, connected to a CVT transmission. The Resources offered by the six-cylinder unit are transmitted to a four-wheel drive intuitive system.

The sales and the market share are growing. The new concept is only the beginning of a long series of premieres and products that Nissan prepares in the near future. By 2012, nearly 70% of the cars that we’ll sell are going to be new generations or facelifts. “
